About

I’m a Gold Coast-based Film and Television Freelancer with a passion for storytelling that began at the age of 12. Growing up in the small regional town of Scone, NSW, I started making fun short films with my friends, many of which went on to win multiple film awards, including My Black Dog, a community awareness piece on mental health.

Driven by my love for film, I pursued a career in the industry by studying Film and Television at Bond University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Film and Television in February 2021. My education provided me with a comprehensive understanding of film production, and since then, I have worked on numerous projects, starting as a Production Intern on the romantic comedy Love in Bloom with the Steve Jaggi Company. From there, I contributed to a variety of exciting productions such as Troppo, Elvis, Rock Island Mysteries Season 2, and many more Steve Jaggi Company films. These experiences have allowed me to gain invaluable insights into every stage of filmmaking, from pre-production to post-production.

Most recently, I had the privilege of working as the Assistant to the Director on Amazon MGM Studios' Space Mouse, where I worked closely with the Director, Producers, and 1st AD. In this role, I was responsible for managing the Director’s schedule, organising meetings, taking notes, proofreading new versions of the screenplay, and ensuring smooth communication across all departments. I also facilitated relationships with Heads of Departments, crew members, and studio representatives to maintain efficiency throughout the production process.

My ultimate goal is to become a Director, and I am determined to expand my knowledge and expertise in this field. I’ve also had the honour of being selected for the Pool Phase of the Local2Global Director’s Initiative by Screen Queensland and the Australian Director’s Guild. In addition, I recently undertook a Director's Attachment during the second season of Troppo, where I had the opportunity to learn from accomplished TV Director Grant Brown. This experience exposed me to the entire production lifecycle, from pre-production to post-production, and provided me with hands-on experience collaborating closely with the Director, Producers, Writers, 1st AD, DOP, and Editor.

These experiences have solidified my passion for directing, and I am eager to embrace the challenges and creativity that lie ahead in my career.
